I hold a BS in Zoology from the University of Maine at Orono with a minor in Chemistry.

Coming from The Chronicle of Higher Education newspaper in Washington, DC, I am currently the Advertising Consultant & Office Manager at Proactive Resources Design. A native of Virginia, I hold a BA in Communications from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, with a focus in desktop publishing.

I moved to this area desiring a change of pace, to experience a different part of the country and to live in beautiful New England. I currently reside in the historic west end neighborhood of Portland, Maine, and enjoy traveling, cooking, computers & photography.

I grew up in my dad’s business. Not only did I work there after school, but I observed how he ran his business and how he treated his customers. He was successful and so was his business.

After 19 years in marketing and education, as a teacher and a director, I decided to branch out into writing and profiling businesses. I like to highlight their uniqueness and what separates them from their competition. Most business owners are receptive to this form of marketing and communication. PRD Inc. looks at company strengths and how they effect the community. I feel it's my job as a wordsmith to convey your business' enduring and memorable message to an eager community. Carpe Diem.

I began at Proactive Resources Design in September 2004 and bring more than 20 years combined experience in Medical/Social Services & Sales. I’m a graduate of UConn with a Masters degree in Social Work.

Everything from marketing, advertising, editing and publishing to direct sales with professionals that are at the top in their respective fields makes Proactive Resources Design an exciting place to be. An innovative work environment that is both intense and relaxed, coupled with great people working beside me, makes it easy to come to work each morning and enjoy each day.

I graduated in 2009 from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, with a BS in Multimedia & Graphic Design and concentration in print production.

This is where I developed a passion for communication design, which I now maintain by staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry and making sure that my skill level advances with time. I bring this enthusiasm to Proactive Resources Design, where I enjoy the creative challenges brought to me by working directly with clients and pushing myself to produce the best work possible.
